Are you an Android Auto enthusiast? Google has announced that over 200 million cars now support Android Auto, with nearly 40 models featuring a built-in Android Auto experience that operates independently of a smartphone.
The newest updates will introduce more apps to this platform. Soon, you’ll be able to stream shows from services like Peacock or Max and enjoy mini-games such as Angry Birds on select cars with built-in Google functionality. These apps are categorized as “parked apps,” meaning they will only be usable when the car is in park. However, Google has plans to eventually lift this restriction, expanding the usability of these features even further.
